Un informe de una empresa de seguridad asegura que la creciente popularidad de Pinterest como sitio de redes sociales hace que sea un objetivo prioritario para los criminales, quienes sobre todo utilizan las encuestas falsas.

Pinterest, el tercer sitio más visitado de redes sociales, “se ha convertido en el objetivo de los criminales”, según un informe de Trend Micro, compañía de software de seguridad.

Los delincuentes cibernéticos están centrando sus esfuerzos en Pinterest, una red social de rápido crecimiento con cerca de 20 millones de usuarios únicos, según ha anunciado Trend Micro en su informe trimestral de amenazas.

“En lugar de atacar a las redes sociales más grandes los piratas han puesto sus ojos en jugadores más pequeños como Pinterest”, señala el informe.

Una de las técnicas más frecuentes empleadas por los criminales son las encuestas falsas, según el informe.
